Day 3 movie - The Madeleine

The Iseran is a long, long climb. The steepest parts are at the beginning, and the final 2.5km. Especially that last bit is an absolute killer. You are already at 2500m altitude, and have been on your bike for many hours. And to face a 8-10% gradient can really break you. But we all made it!!
Taken with my bike-cam, sorry about the shakyness, the roads here just aren't perfect.. ;-)
As the winner of the first ever Nedstat Classic Bolletjestrui, Michael arranged some attractive ladies to do the handover.
Below are the profiles of the three main climbs that we will do this year. They are on the same scale and start at the same altitude, to make them easily comparable.
You will notice that the first day is the easiest, with the Cormet de Roselend. It is not very steep, nor very high, and you get a rest break at about two thirds as we pass the lake. The second day is tougher in the sense that the Iseran is a very very long climb, though never very steep. The Madeleine on the third day will be toughest. It is quite long and steep, and you get no breaks.
